Consortium representation at International Conferences in 2022
Beyond our involvement at the 2022 Geneva Health Forum on 3-5 May, the Consortium has been and will be featured at other international scientific and global health conferences this year.
The acceptance of our late-breaking abstract by the 32nd European Congress on Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases allowed for the presentation of the clinical Phase III data to experts at the event in Lisbon on 23-26 April.
The Consortium will also participate in the Coalition for Operational Research on NTDS (COR-NTD) virtual Annual Meeting on 4-5 October, bringing further attention to the topic of ‘access’.
Organized by Fiocruz, the 16th International Symposium on Schistosomiasis on 21-23 November in Brazil will represent an additional important opportunity for the Consortium to highlight its progress and future ambitions, together with our partners and the larger schistosomiasis community.
These conferences showcase the global attention being brought to NTDs in 2022 – the year of the renewal of commitments in the context of the London Declaration for NTDs and the Kigali Summit on NTDs and Malaria that took place on 23 June.
